All Abilities Inclusion Ministry
The article linked below will help you understand some of the reasons we created our AAIM ministry
All Abilities Inclusion Ministry is our church wide effort to insure that persons of all abilities are fully integrated into the life and work of Everybody's Church. Our inclusive Sunday school program for students of all abilities ranges from pre-school through their teen years. The curriculum includes an intentionally structured program with a multi-sensory approach to teaching Bible stories. Curriculum is individualized based on parent input and staff recommendations. Our Inclusion Coordinators train and supervise volunteers who support students as needed. If you would be interested in learning more about this ministry, please contact Cindy Merten at 248.644.3380 x145.

FAR Conservatory
FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation is a nonprofit organization that is proudly housed in the First Presbyterian Church. FAR gives adults and children with special needs a way to express themselves, explore their artistic gifts and communicate in new ways. Through creative arts and recreational therapies, FAR clients learn much more than how to play a musical instrument, paint a picture or learn the latest dance moves. They gain ground developmentally and socially. They meet therapeutic goals. They make friends. They create. They connect.
FAR offers a wide range of programs in music therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, recreational therapy, theater arts, cooking, adaptive swimming, bowling, teen and adult social clubs and summer camps. Private, semi-private and group sessions are available. FAR provides services for any age and any diagnosis. To learn more visit FAR-therapy.org or call 248.646.3347.
