Youth Ministries
During COVID-19 Safety Measures
I am sure the youth are having mixed reactions as well, including anxiety and disappointment over cancelled gatherings and not seeing friends. I want to be as available as I can be to hear them and you during this time.
I am hoping this plan will help us stay focused on faith and the things we can do to stay safe. God has promised to walk this path with us and cares for our wholeness. As we focus on our physical health let us not forget that we are also spiritual beings. As we isolate our bodies, we will need to work harder to not isolate our souls. I will open ZOOM meetings every Sunday for middle school, high school, and college students. Use the meeting info from my office hours above to access. Middle & High School @ 5:00 pm College @ 8:00 pm Parents Check in on one another often in the coming weeks. Wednesdays June 17, July 1, July 15, July 29 at 5:00 pm we will meet together on ZOOM. We can talk through our feelings and check in. Maybe even brainstorm some ways to help us get through the month. I am also hoping to put together some videos with family prayer/ activities, individual meditation practices, and other helpful info. I will share these to Facebook for sure and hopefully find a way to get them on YouTube and the church website. If you see anything that is helpful send it to me and I will get it out to the rest of us. Shalom & Agape, Rev. Bethany |

Safety Policy and Forms
All adults who participate in events or meetings must pass a background check. We always have at least two adults when there are youth present. Any one-on-one discussions that need to take place happen within eyesight of another adult. When we have overnight events where sleeping takes place there is always two male chaperones and two female chaperones. The church bus is always driven by a driver with a CDL certification. If you ever have a concern please contact Rev. Bethany ASAP.

All student participants need to turn in a yearly permission form, and all chaperones need a background check every three years.
