Shawl Ministry
This group is not meeting during the pandemic.
Do you like to knit? Or, would you like to learn how? Do you enjoy casual conversation with friends? if any of these apply to you, the Shawl Ministry may be for you. The Shawl Ministry is a group of women who meet on Monday mornings from 10am to noon in Fireside Room during the Fall, Winter and Spring. While some people work on their own projects, many of the people knit shawls for those in the hospital or nursing home, blankets for children being baptized and caps and other items for children in need. You do not have stay for the entire time...only as your schedule allows. Feel free to show up or you can fill out the contact form and we will be in touch with you. Senior AdventuresThese tours will not resume until the pandemic is over.
Join other seniors on local adventures. This group typically does a tour and a meal together once a month, usually on the first Wednesday of the month. See posters in the hallway and sign up sheets on the sign-up table outside Calvin Hall for more information. Contact Dana Layman or Carol Kyburz. |
Six at 6
Six at 6 is an opportunity to be part of a small group meal experience over the course of year. Approximately every quarter each group meets for dinner, brunch or perhaps even a picnic. One person/couple hosts and everyone else brings along something to share. Groups are arranged in January but new people are always welcome to join in during the year. We can always find a place for you. If you want to participate in this year's Six at 6 experience, contact Barbara Russell.
