Faith Kasoni - Kenya
Faith Kasoni grew up in the Samburu people of northern Kenya. The Samburu are pastoralists, meaning that they herd sheep and cattle. She left home rather than suffer Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). She came to faith in Christ and it changed her life. She studied Public Health and now works for the Presbyterian Church of East Africa among the Samburu and other pastoralist people groups. She teaches about health issues to mothers, children and teens. One of her chief missions is to support girls who also want to refuse FGM. We are her sole source of support and pay her salary through First Foundation. She is in need of other support for her fuel and home support. Faith also works with mission teams from across the world and helps them reach out to tell the story of Jesus to those who have never heard it.
