Volunteer Opportunities at FPC
Ushers are an integral part of worship and a great way to be involved in the church! Schedules can be flexible. Ushers check people in on iPads as part of our contact tracing protocol and distribute bulletins.
Ushers arrive at 8:10am for the 8:30am service or 9:30am for the 10:00am service. Ushers at the 10:00am service are encouraged to wear masks even if they are fully vaccinated. Ushers at the 8:30am service WILL be required to wear masks. The 8:30am service is for individuals who are not comfortable attending a service without masks. Worshipers will also be socially distant.
Do you like coffee hour? Please help keep this social ministry going after the 10am service. Duties include making coffee, setting out snacks and cups etc. and cleaning up after. Helpers leave the service during the last hymn, clean up begins at 11:30, and doesn’t take long. Karen Christensen will help you and answer your questions! Please sign up on the Sign Up Genius by clicking on the button above.
