Youth Ministries
Everybody’s Church Youth Ministry provides a safe space for teens to take risks, learn, and make lifelong friends as they develop into independent Christians who choose to actively be a beacon of God’s love in a hurting world. We do this by engaging in four main areas of Christian life; Worship, Learning, Service, and FUN! We believe if a student does one thing in each of these categories each month they WILL grow closer to God and see the Spirit working through them. Dedication to ones faith now leads to a life of deeper meaning and a supportive community. The core of our program is Sunday meetings. Each week Rev. Bethany Peerbolte curates Bible lessons that students can put into practice immediately. Often the themes are things the students have asked to discuss. We also leave plenty of time to socialize and play games together. Classes are designed to help students grow into individuals with their own faith, their own doubts, and their own practices. We welcome the hard questions and intentionally have non-judgmental discussions. Throughout the year we also plan extra events (lock-ins, trips, service days, etc) to dig deeper into a topic and strengthen our bond of community. Our diverse community of young believers support one another in all aspects of life, on the field, on the stage, on the bus, EVERYWHERE! You can get our weekly emails by sending an email to Debra Romalia, dswatosh@yahoo.com. Debra is the Chair of Youth Ministries. or text updates by texting @fpcbyouth to 81010) |

Safety Policy and Forms
All adults who participate in events or meetings must pass a background check. We always have at least two adults when there are youth present. Any one-on-one discussions that need to take place happen within eyesight of another adult. When we have overnight events where sleeping takes place there is always two male chaperones and two female chaperones. The church bus is always driven by a driver with a CDL certification. If you ever have a concern please contact Rev. Bethany ASAP.

All student participants need to turn in a yearly permission form, and all chaperones need a background check every three years.

Volunteer
If you survived adolescence you are highly qualified to work with teenagers.
We love how active and engaged our youth are at this church. To make this ministry successful and safe we also need adults to be involved at all meetings and events. Over the course of a year, our chaperones put in 255 hours and make about 30 meals for our hungry crew! Without these efforts the program would never be what it is today. PLUS...they have just as much fun as the youth. This coming year, please pray about how you can support the youth program and look for our sign-ups to get into the action! If every family brings in 2 meals and volunteers 10 hours we will have the smoothest running year ever! Chaperone sign-up is on the same link as the youth participants.
