WHAT IS STAGE?
STAGE (Somewhere to Ask God Everything) is a collaborative youth group that strives to build lifelong relationships, impact the communities we live in, and learn about and share the love of Christ.
You can get on the STAGE email list by contacting Jessica Gibbs, the Youth Director for STAGE at STAGEyouth@gmail.com.
STAGE began in 1998 with the support of Lutheran, Presbyterian, and Methodist churches in the Berkley/Royal Oak communities. Today STAGE is sponsored by Greenfield Presbyterian, Drayton Avenue Presbyterian, Cana Lutheran, First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham, and First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak.
A typical STAGE gathering includes dinner, time catching up with each other and playing a game, followed by a discussion and conversation about the Christian faith and how we can grow relationally, communally, and spiritually.
Our STAGE. Youth Council (SYC) supports and plays a large role in the continuation of STAGE.
It is composed of members from each congregation and meets on a monthly basis to help communicate with home churches, plan events, and support the youth director.
We would love for you to come be a part of our community. We welcome all students from any background.
