Sunday Evening Worship Services

Each Sunday service is a worship experience crafted to allow us to encounter God in new ways.  The Sunday evening services are held at 5pm  September – May (except for Rejoicing Spirits which runs year round).  Following each service will be a time for gathering and greeting.  Dress is very casual and the coffee is always on.  You can download complete details and schedule of the Sunday evening worship services here.  The styles of worship include:

Gospel – Need a lift? If so…come clap your hands, move your body, and sing some good gospel praise.  The Gospel service occurs on the first Sunday of each month (excluding September, January and April).  This service is held in the sanctuary.

Celebrate in Song – Singing together is a powerful and intimate way to express our love for God…and to strengthen the love in our community. The Celebrate in Song service occurs on the second Sunday of each month (excluding September, December, and April).  This service is held in the sanctuary.

Faith Conversations- Hank Borchardt will be preaching and leading worship backed up by Duncan Jones on the piano. You will gain new insights into scripture and sing traditional hymns with a jazzy beat.  This service is offered the third Sunday of each month in Knox Hall.

Rejoicing Spirits – This is a no-shush service that welcomes all and celebrates the gifts of our brothers and sisters with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Signing is offered.  This service is offered in the sanctuary on the fourth Sunday of each month all year round.   Click here or watch the video below for additional information.  Parents and caregivers can download this handout to help prepare for the service.
