Windows of the Word
And I will make thy windows of agates, And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord. (Isaiah 54:12,13)
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
For many years, Presbyterian Women have organized and published a daily devotional during the season of Lent. And many of us know the experience of opening the printed booklet or our email and finding words that seem to have been written just for us on that day. Words with special meaning for us that the writer could not have known … but God knows, and finds ways of speaking to us and through us.
