At First Presbyterian Church we believe God in Christ calls us to offer ministries of mission and outreach that involve us personally in service, help us to be good neighbors in our local context, and reflect the priorities of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Through these ministries we will serve others in Jesus’ name, welcome and support the differently able, and spread the gospel through just and compassionate service.
Alcott School Ministry – The Alcott School Ministry provides tutors and other educational support to students of the Alcott Elementary School and Lincoln Middle School in Pontiac.
Whole Church Mission Opportunities – Throughout the year, members and friends of First Presbyterian Church come together to provide our time and talents to various non-profit organizations in the Metro Detroit area.
Special Needs Ministry – The Special Needs Ministry works to nurture and form faith of children with developmental disabilities and make First Presbyterian Church a welcoming and supportive church for people of all abilities.
